Ray Dolby, Sony und IBM

Ein inzwischen ganz bekannter Mann und für die Entwicklung und den Durchbruch der Bandmaschinen in der Studio-Technik war Ray Dolby. Als junger Mann arbeitete er 1947 bei Ampex am ersten US Tonbandgerät mit und später an der Entwicklung des ersten Video Recorders.
